Galil Carry Handle
This is a carry handle that appears to be new, old stock. It's genuine from what I can tell, down to the small indents in the face for the handguard springs. Probably overrun or depot surplus. The early rifles had the carry handle, but the later issue rifles I saw while living in Israel did not have the handle, The rifles were typically carried open, slung horizontally around the neck while on foot patrol. in fact, most did not have the bi pod. If you don;t need it, why haul it around, especially when it is pulling on your neck and shoulders. About the only time I saw the rifles folded was when they were getting on the bus to town or on a vehicle. Anyway, got a handle to make my rifle complete for the full effect and nostalgia because they were like that when they were made back in, "the old country".
